New Light is a group exhibition celebrating the energy, colour and sense of renewal that comes with a change of season.
By October, the days are longer, gardens are alive with new growth, and the changing light brings fresh colour and clarity to the landscape around us. It is a season that naturally speaks of optimism, possibility and looking forward.
Through painting, sculpture, ceramics and mixed media, the artists in New Light respond to these ideas in their own distinctive ways. Some explore light and landscape, others colour, form, growth and movement, while others interpret the idea of a new beginning more personally.
The exhibition brings together new work and new ideas, celebrating the optimism that can come from seeing something familiar in a different light.
