The Little Black Gallery is a celebration of original jewellery, design, art and objects.
We are a modern art space, fresh and innovative. You can visit us in Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, on site at Treghan Luxury Lodge. The gallery focuses on local and national artists and designers and offers original art, jewellery, prints, art blocks, ceramics and gifts.
Opened late 2015 the gallery displays both local and national artists and is also a working studio.
Original art and prints include Crispin Korschen, Catherine Dunn, Lynn Pirrie Smith, Raewyn King, Cassandra Ann Rose, Michelle Wright, Annie Hayward, Jan Stevenson, Anna Hamilton, Barbie Stevenson and Susannah Laws.
Jewellery includes designers and jewellers such as EmmaH, Dorthe Kristiensen, Nick Fient, Omni Caeon, Raymond Stokes, Louisa Millett, Marlene Strode, Louise Spiers, and Anna Hamilton, while ceramists Jin Ling, Greg Barron, Angela Francis, Formed Function, and many others can also be purchased.
The Little Black Gallery is a working studio where much of the EmmaH jewellery - both silver and handmade gemstone jewellery - is designed and made and where Anna Hamilton's art studio is located.
We aim to provide a friendly, relaxed environment in which to make a wide variety of quality art accessible to all. Well-established and new artists contribute from around the Northland region and beyond and we encourage artists to develop new work to exhibit in the gallery.
